I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Is Wales behind us

Nice to see Robbie Savage took five minutes out of his dancing career to pass judgement on the Carling Cup Final in his Friday column in the Daily Mirror.

The Wrexham/Liverpool fan doesn’t rate our chances much, in fact he believe the gulf between Cardiff and Liverpool is too great for the City to overcome. He also believes the only way City could win is if the Liverpool team don’t turn up, funny or what.

However, on the plus side he does wish us all the best Sorry to say, that's in keeping with a fair few there is a lot of negatively from our fellow Welsh footy fans when it comes to offering some support, it’s the norm. This capital city syndrome runs through the heart of Wales asking near anyone outside Cardiff and they will tell you ‘Cardiff has it all’. That means the support beyond our fan base is limited.

They will be a fair few Welshman donning their Liverpool shirts to support the scouser. What about the unlucky few who are make the trip to Wembley, they will have to be brave. Thousands upon thousands of Cardiff City will be hitting the road, come Sunday all heading one way London and Wembley who would want to be sat on South Wales Liverpool Supporters Club coach on the same road.

In his article Savage has a real pop over the news there will be no National anthems, it infuriates him at the Football League have scrapped them. He seem convinced booing would not happen this time, but maybe the FL are not willing to take the chance with a worldwide audience to seeing the anthems booed.

There is no way some of the Cardiff faithful could sit through ‘God save the Queen’ without booing. It would seem the anthems thing as vexed a few people even Leighton (I hate Cardiff City) James has piped in with his ten peneth. He reckons “It’s an insult to Cardiff fans” remember back in 1977 when the Wales anthem was not played before a 1-0 win over England and how it fired them up.
