I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Noone still a Malky target

Will he be a Bluebird come
February
ACCORDING to the local press Cardiff City boss, Malky Mackay is about to up his offer in an attempt to landed Craig Noone. It has been reported that the Welshman had a previous offer of £400,000/£500,000 turned down by his club Brighton, but with the January transfer window closing on Tuesday a new bid is rumoured to been needed to push the deal along.

Another target who was in the  headlights of the Cardiff boss was Blackpool’s Matt Phillips. He looks to be heading for the Premier League and Bolton, with his valuation now reaching £1million. Brighton are eager to hang on to Noone, but the Albion manager Gus Poyet warned he will have a fight to his top players, with much bigger wage packets on offer elsewhere.

A winger is a top priority for the Cardiff boss during the transfer window and with the Malaysian backers of the club insuring fans there is money available for new players.

Could it go down to the wire in the chase for two or three new players Mackay, could he be doing business on the touchline at Southampton Tuesday, I believe the window his staying open until 11pm.
