I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Malky up beat about Tuesday

In Malky we believe
CARDIFF CITY boss Malky Mackay has hit back at his opposite number at Crystal Palace Dougie Freedman after he said Mackay’s his team were ‘scared to death’ over the return semi-final leg on Tuesday at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Asked after Cardiff’s 3-2 victory over Portsmouth he rapped the Palace boss declaring he had just given his team talk in preparation for the game.

He (Freedman) seems to be banking on Cardiff past failures in his words ‘to get over the hurdle’ maybe he has not noticed, but we have a new manager and players and the past is history now. It is now Mackay turn to carve out his history with the Bluebirds.

Mackay said in the Sunday Mirror (Welsh Edition), “I won’t be losing any sleep. I suppose he’s just trying to lift his players.

“But I can tell you that our players are all looking forward to it.

“It’s a huge game for both clubs.”

Just who is running scared ahead of the game? Did Mackey rest his players from the Portsmouth game yesterday, no? Cardiff fans are expecting to see the starting eleven all to be in contention for a Carling Cup semi-final spot. While Freedman did rest players, nine to be exact showing this game is more and less his season throwing in the towel on the league which didn’t help losing 2-1 at Blackpool. Freedman is quoted has saying,

“I had my mind on Tuesday’s big game. The game at Cardiff is a huge game for us and the club deserves it.”
