I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Malky makes first signing

Malky's first signing
On the official, Aston Villa website they have announced that goalkeeper Elliot Parish has completed a permanent deal to join the Bluebirds. According to the Villa site the player himself decided to join Cardiff.

The keeper has been on loan with the Bluebirds on loan after signing had cover on a loan deal and Bluebirds first signing of the January transfer window.

Parish joined Villa in 2006 and was part of the U18 team that won the Barclays Premier Academy League as well as reaching FA Youth Cup semi-final. He never made a first time appearance or Cardiff since joining on loan his only appearance between the posts was while on loan at Lincoln City and on his debut letting six.

The keeper as also represented England at the U20 World Cup in 2009 playing in three games. He will now join David Marshall, Tom Heaton and Jordan Santiago in the Cardiff City keeper pool with is chances of first team football now are next to nil. With Marshall being so dominant between the post and Heaton showing great form when given the chance where will that leave Canadian Santiago?
