CARDIFF CITY manager Malky Mackay is on a quick trip to Malaysia where he will officially launch of the 1Malaysia project a youth academy supported by Cardiff City and passionately back by the clubs Malaysian owners.
The Bluebirds boss and other club officals are due back on Thursday and hopefully he will have time to sit down with financially backer Vincent Tan and Chairmen Chan Tien Ghee and nail down what funds are available for new signings. Mackey his likely to know who his targets are the cost involved.
Two areas have been mark out by the manager for strengthening, namely a new winger and striker are the main targets if you believe the press.
To date Cardiff are believed to have made a £400.000/£500,000 bid for Brighton’s Craig Noone which was knocked back by the East Coast club. There are only 13/12 days left of the transfer window shuts on his return but is hoping to bring in new faces before the trip to Southampton at the end of the month.
