The South Wales Echo splashed the story that Cardiff City was interested in Brighton winger Craig Noone and today they are back with the story. According to press, reports the Welshman have had an offer of £400,000/£500,000 turned down with Brighton looking for a least a million for the players. Suprisingly the Cardiff boss confirmed an offer had been made telling the BBC,
"We've made a bid and it has been turned down."
The Brighton manager Gus Poyet could be willing to sale but at the right price. The player took no part in Saturday 1-1 draw against Wrexham in the FA Cup having just returned from seeing a specialist in Germany for treatment on a hamstring injury.
Therefore, the ball looks to be firmly in Cardiff court if they want Noone they will have to stump up more cash so a chat with the Malaysians on the cards.
