FORMER Cardiff City coach Terry Burton is reported to be in line to become first-team coach at West Brom. Burton has been out of work since the summer and the arrival of Malky Mackay and his new backroom staff.
It was reported he was on ‘garden leave’ running out what was left of his contract at Cardiff.
Burton joined Cardiff as assistant manager during the 2004–2005 season, with Lennie Lawrence's was manager at the club.
Changes are rumoured at the Black Country club with currnet coach Keith Downing promoted to assistant head coach and Burton joining Roy Hodgson’s staff as the club’s new first-team coach.
