Looks like the Cardiff boss Malky Mackay policy of loan out young squad members for experience will continue with academy product Ibrahim Farah heading for Northampton Town on a loan spell.
Farah outed himself the possible deal on Twitter when he tweeted ‘On the way to Northampton, hope 2day goes well!’ He played in Northampton reserves against Tamworth this afternoon and help his chances of cementing a deal by scoring two goals in a 2-2 draw.
It would caretaker manager David Lee first signing if the deal was to go through after taking over from Gary Johnson, sacked at weekend, following a weekend defeat at Luton Town.
The 19-year-old Cardiff academy product is well thought of by the staff at Cardiff City and made his debut earlier in the season in the Carling Cup fixture against Oxford United.

As a Northampton fan, do you think he will do a job for us. We have a West Brom lad at the moment up front and he reminds me of a young Jermaine Defoe. Will Farah be good enough to supply the amunition to help fire us up the League 2 table where we belong. Heres hoping.
