Two Championship clubs have become managerless in the last hour of this dour Sunday afternoon as Nottingham Forest parted company with their manage Bill Davies and new relegated Birmingham City's boss Alex McLeish has resigned.
Shock waves have hit the airwaves and Sky Sports News over rumours McLeish could be heading for Birmingham's deadly rivals Aston Villa. While at Nottingham Forest ex-England boss Steve McClaren is in talks and from reports will be offered the job.
Could this news throw a spanner in the search for the new boss at Cardiff as press rumours in the past have linked Davies to the job? Early bookies odd have him favourite for the Birmingham job, but will Dave Jones be dusting off his CV being Skybet are quoting him at 12/1 for the job.
