Second game in Spain for the Bluebirds

Cardiff City has a friendly with Gibraltar 12 July, but it will not be on the rock itself, but in Jerez (Spain). Jerez is the home to Xerez Club Deportivo who plays in Spain's Segunda División and a possible venue could be Estadio Municipal de Chapín with a 22,000 capacity.

Cardiff will be up against Gibraltar's national squad although has been on announced officially by Cardiff City it is on the Gibraltar FA website. The game will be a 7:30pm kick-off the game is a few days before they face Division One side Charlton in Seville, Spain.

Gibraltar will be getting a taste of Welsh Football on Saturday when the face Ynys Mons (The Isle of Anglesey) in the Island Games on the Isle of Wight at Newport FC is ground.
