| Loovens link with Bluebirds |
Could Celtic want Mark Hudson? Press reports are suggesting they are and that they are willing to do a swap for the Cardiff defender. It would mean ex-City player Glenn Loovens making the journey back to Cardiff.
Cardiff was interested in the Celtic defender in the summer but he stated he wanted to stay in Scotland. Celtic paid £2.5million in the summer of 2008 for the player any fee how is unknown. One option open to the Cardiff boss is a loan deal until the end of the season with a option to buy. He is out-of-favour and has not played first team football since the end of October with the Scottish giants and with a section of the fans unhappy with his performances.
Even if the whole swap thing is a rumour Cardiff boss Dave Jones could still be interested in Loovens. He (Jones) would like to see four or five news faces at the club during the January transfer window.
