In a media statement a Plymouth spokesman said:
"Peter has extensive experience in football.Over the last month or so he has been seen at a number of Plymouth games. That the time Plymouth’s executive director Keith Todd was quick to dismiss an involvement between the club and Ridsdale. Todd told the local press:
"He is just one of a number of parties that we have undertaken exploratory discussions, with regard to potential future investment."
"If and when there is anything further to add we will do so at the appropriate time."
"He is down in the West Country on holiday and asked if he could come along to the game. "There is nothing more to it than that."A rumour going round the internet is that Ridsdale is back by some Americans, maybe the same Americans who he lined up to invest in Cardiff. Surprisingly looking at the Plymouth messageboards where some fans would be happy for Ridsdale to be involved in their club. It is a case of anyone but the lot in charge at the moment.
