Nathaniel Jarvis is returning to Cardiff after a loan spell with Southend United. Cardiff City boss Dave Jones let the youngest go out on loan to gain some experience.
He has been with the Division Two since the end of September until today but never managed a start but seen action off the bench making seven substitute appearances failing score.
Southend boss Paul Sturrock said before finally making his mind up,
“I will be weighing up my options with Nathaniel.“He has got something and does get chances when he comes on but not one of them has nestled in the net yet.“I will think things through and soon be making a decision.”
He made his mind up and it no loan extension for Jarvis who returns to Wales but not for long maybe. It would be likely Dave Jones would want to loan the young strike out again has with no reserve football at Cardiff, a loan out somewhere would be beneficial for the player.
