| Cardiff City v Norwich City Today kick-off 3pm |
Victory for the Bluebirds today and the right result from the QPR game and Cardiff could be top of the League but later today afternoon.
The early team news is, nothing to worry about so far the main question is will Craig Bellamy be rested or play. The money is on he will start but depending on how the game is going he could be taken off before the end of the game. Everyone want him fit for the Swansea game a week Sunday with will be broadcast live on terrestrial TV the BBC.
Danny Drinkwater is back in training and Cardiff boss Dave Jones would like to through him into the mix for today’s game, but will take advice from the clubs medical staff.
In today’s press he said:
“I’ll have to battle with physio Sean Connelly and the medical people, but Danny is back in full training,” said Jones.
“I would certainly be disappointed if we didn’t have him fit and available for the start of next week – and I’ll try to get him in the squad now.
“He looks fine, striking balls, running, twisting and turning.
“He is doing everything, but I will listen to my medical staff before making a decision.”
He could end up on the bench but when he does return how will he fit into the team, who will Jones drop out of the line-up. With nearly everyone fit Jones will be awash with playing options and good news is that Chris Riggott is also in full training.
