Of the five main released player made by Cardiff City boss Dave Jones at the end of last season, only left-back Tony Capaldi had failed to find a club for the start of the season.
According to STV Sport he could be signing a possible short-term deal with SPL club Hearts. The Scottish club are looking for cover and it would seem the Northern Ireland international fits the bill. He told the Edinburgh Evening News:
"I'll know more later today because I have to go in and speak to Hearts.
"I don't know exactly what will happen but I'm hoping to get something sorted out until January.
"I trained yesterday and we've agreed to have a chat today. Everything depends on what is said in the meeting. If it goes well I hope to be in the squad tomorrow against Celtic.
"The lad (Wallace] got some good news about his injury so Hearts will have to decide if they still need me. I hope something can be done but if not I'll have to look elsewhere."
