After his surprise sign yesterday information on the young defender was hard to find. The only record this blog could find was in reference to playing for University at Buffalo Man’s Soccer squad in 2008 but some of his football career can now be slotted in.
First he is British born but moved to Canada and when on to Buffalo University he late emerged playing in Argentina at Argentinos Juniors in Buenos, but there is no information or records I can find.
He then popped up having a trial with Welling United and was on the bench for the start of a friendly against an Arsenal X1. He came on for the last 28 minutes and caught the eye of a Cardiff scout at the game. Since the return from the Portugal tour he has been have a extened trial with the Bluebirds.
He was on the bench for the Deportivo La Coruna but was un-used and signed yesterday and was thrown straight into the Burton Albion game. He played the full game and impressed the fans and the press the Echo gave him a 7 for his performance last night. Cardiff boss Dave Jones was planning to take him off but injuries forced a change of mind.
Cardiff are giving him a big chance and is first professional contract at the age of 22.
