| New signing |
Cardiff City boss Dave Jones is not letting the grass grow under feet for long. His first signed of the four new signings he wants is midfielder Seyi Olofinjana from Championship rivals Hull City. Since 2004 when he joined the English system from Norwegian club Brann he has also played for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City.
Dave Jones paid £1.7million for Olofinjana to take him to Wolves in July 2004 and he immediately became a first choice player at Molineux but struggled for consistency in performances and the starts dropped away. A few months after the signing Jones was sacked. Olofinjana stayed with the Midlands club until 2008 joining Stoke City for £3million. He sign a four-year deal with Stoke but after one season was sold on to Hull City for the same price.
Last season with Hull he only managed 11 starts, with another eight league appearances off the bench has he struggled to hold down a regular first-team place.
He is joining on a season-long loan with Cardiff rumoured to be paying part of reported £20.000 wages. He can play for his new club tomorrow against Burton Albion in the Carling Cup he must be match fit as he was an un-used sub on Saturday.

Welsh Wednesday fan in peace.
Good signing. I'm not being funny but I'm wondering how can you afford his wages or to bring anyone in? With all the unpaid bonuses and high wages and transfer embargo's and tax bills etc
Just seems strange.
