Going to Cardiff a waste - Redknapp

The Spurs boss Harry Redknapp should keep his nose out of Cardiff City business after giving interviews that it would be ‘a waste’ if Craig Bellamy was to join the Bluebirds.

There has been nothing official about the situation regarding Craig Bellamy and Cardiff City.

The Spurs boss is a long time admirer of the Welsh international and would like to sign him but believes Manchester City wouldn’t sell him to a Premiership rival. Another boss in the race like Mark Hughes has a strong personal connection with Bellamy having managed him three times, at Wales, Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City paying out £19million in transfer fees. But Hughes could well find himself in the same boat has Redknapp.

Redknapp said of the prospect of Bellamy joining Cardiff:
"Good luck to Cardiff but it would be a waste of an outstanding player.
"He should stay in the Premier League for sure."
"I think someone's going to have to end up buying him probably.
“Unless Manchester City do decide to end up loaning him to a club like Fulham.
"I couldn't see them loaning him to someone like us."

I really wish Mr Redknapp would keep his nose out of things. But i assume he is peeved because he is missing out on a large backhander by Bellamy not going to Spurs. We at Pompey are still waiting to see him in court to explain what he(and Storrie and Gaydamak...and probably Mandaric) did with all of our money. The man is a crook
