News of the World columnist Gary Lineker has been put in his place when it comes to Cardiff City and Craig Bellamy, by his Cardiff born wife.

Like everyone else he seems to have a problem with why he took the drop to the Championship. He has not lost out in wages which could have derailed the deal if the two clubs could not sort one out. The money is just on about his pocket he also has his Craig Bellamy Foundation to fund. 

Happy to be at Cardiff City well it is simple all you have to do is watch his after match interview when a reporter tells him he will be home in 30minutes, beaming with a broad smile on his face said:

“Win, lose or draw its going to takes me 10 minutes to get home. Which is the first time I have been able to say that in my career, look I’m home and happy”

I think that tells you a lot about why Cardiff.
