Cardiff City has paid half of the money owed to Motherwell according to Cardiff chief executive Gethin Jenkins has confirmed speaking on the official Cardiff City website:"We can confirm that as a result of the increased cash flow with the interest since Craig Bellamy's arrival we have now paid half of the money owed to Motherwell, a club who themselves were in administration, and we have given our word that the remainder will be paid within the seven-day commitment we have made."
The Motherwell John Boyle interviewed before the Craig Bellamy press conference on Sky Sports News was incensed over the unpaid debt owed to his club. Cardiff missed some staged payments last season and is owed £175,000.
