It is just going from bad to worse for Craig Bellamy at Manchester City with the latest bit of news he has been banned from Manchester City.
He has been told he is not welcome at City's training ground and cannot train. He is to find a new club a loan deal or cash has the club are to wash their hands of him. On returning for Welsh international duty he was told to train with the reserves on Friday but his attitude was perceived to be so "disruptive" the club has told him he is no longer welcome.
Bellamy is reported to be returned to Wales to be with his family and is expected to train with Cardiff City tomorrow. The internet is flush with stories on Bellamy about to sign with the Bluebirds on a six month loan. All the talk seems to be a bit premature, as the big problem is his wages. He is on a reported £80,000 a-week pay packet way out the budget of the Welsh Cup and Manchester City is at the moment unwilling to subsidize his wages.
For him to join Cardiff City he would have to take a massive pay cut if Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini was willing to allow him out on loan. The Manchester City board could want to try and recoup some of the £14million they paid West Ham for him.
