Celtic as well as having an interest in signing Joe Ledley now it would seem the Celtic boss Neil Lennon as a mind to take Peter Whittingham up to Scotland.
The Scottish club are prepared to pay over £2million according to press reports for the service of the Cardiff City winger. Ex-Cardiff City centre-half Glenn Loovens could be part of the deal coming back to Cardiff on a season loan.
Other news surrounding transfer talk is that defender has negotiated a release from Cardiff City. He has not had much luck with the Bluebirds since joining back in June 2008. I never played a first team game and was loaned out three times, twice to Hereford and Gillingham. Dennehy is like to end up back at Gillingham who have been chasing all summer.
The Joe Ledley story goes on and on with Liverpool how rumoured to have enter the race. Liverpool’s new boss Roy Hodgson was linked with Ledley when he was boss Fulham. If Liverpool is showing interest it throws a big spanner into the plans of Celtic, Stoke and all others waiting in the wings.
