I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Could the un-wanted be wanted now

With talk of no new signings and another possible transfer embargo if the money owed to Sunderland for the Chopra deal not paid it looks like everyone in the present squad will be need.

So it could be handy that the deal between Solomon Taiwo and Norwich has fallen through with neither club are prepared to comment on why. The Echo is suggesting it was down to a failed medical. Gillingham have been chasing Darren Dennehy with boss Andy Hessenthaler eager to sign him after Dennehy  successful loan with the Kent club last season.

The chairman of Gillingham said,

"It's something we've been working on. We have asked him to come and he is keen, we have to try and resolve a few issues first."
Is the need greater for boss Dave Jones to keep these players than let them go. Could even Miguel Cummings who was expect to be release this summer but the club keep him on to help him reign his fitness after injury find a place in the squad.

Jones released goalkeeper Peter Enckelman, versatile Tony Capaldi, strikers Warren Feeney and Josh Magennis and defender Aaron Morris along with a number of youth player and Joe Ledley. So far only Enckelman has been replaced with keeper Tom Heaton coming in
