The Bluebirds are in action tonight in Portugal 7pm kick-off, they are playing newly promoted Portimonense in only their second pre-season fixture. They finish second place and returning it to the topflight of Portuguese football after exactly 20 years of absence.
Cardiff will be looking to carry on their 100% record in friendlies this summer, after a 2-0 win over Bath City under their belts. With only two more planned friendlies to play Notts County (away) and Deportivo (home) it has been a real quiet pre-season for the Cardiff squad.
All the squad at Bath City played some part in the game and it could be the same tonight has Cardiff boss Dave Jones narrows down his squad to the starting eleven for the opening league game of the season Sheffield United game.
