I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

City in action tonight

Twerton Park Stadium, Bath
First game of the season although it is a lower friendly against Bath City it means the season is getting even closer.

Because of the transfer embargo it is unclear if any of the new signings will be on show but I think Tom Heaton sign before it was installed. All the first team should get a run out they are no reported injuries among the players. You can listen to the Bath game tonight if you subscribe to Cardiff City World.

The next friendly will be in Portugal when the club flying out for some pre-season training and a two-match tour to Portugal. It was hastily arranged after the cancellation of the Malaysia trip and the name of the teams or venue in Portugal have yet to be name.

When they return from Portugal they have two more planned friendlies
Notts County v Cardiff City 24th July Saturday

Cardiff City v Deportivo La Coruna 31st July Saturday
The opening of Npower Championship season kick-offs on Saturday, August 7 but because the demands of Sky TV on football the first game will take place on Friday. Norwich play Watford has gets the season gunderway on the Friday night and the rest of the League will have to way until Sunday and after the Cardiff City v Sheffield United game to know their final league position.
