I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Can he return

In the Echo today and also on Annis Abraham Jnr messageboard Sam Hammam is back in the country, and according to them meeting the current chairman Dato Chan Tien Ghee who flew into London yesterday, for a top-secret meeting that everyone knows about.

A few weeks ago it looked like the door was ever so slightly bring open for a possible return for the once owner/chairman Sam Hammam, there were suggestions of new investment into the club. He and his lieutenant from the old inner circle days were kind of preparing the ground for his return. But a club statement firmly shut the door back in his face saying the only talks the club were planning were over the Langston debt.

The hope of fans still flying the flag Hammam was in any face to face meeting the subject of a  possible return could be rised. He as a major card in this pocket, the Langston debt, he is the only link between the club and them holders of the clubs biggest debt.

I could never work out Hammam and Langston, his he part of the Langston Company or is he Langston? The originally £24million debt was reduced to £10million in talks between Hammam and then chairman Peter Ridsdale with a payment plan set-up. Langston would also receive for the stadium naming rights and predicted £5million or the equivalent amount if Cardiff gained promotion.

The temptation of some new investment could give the Malaysians some food for thought but the Lebanese businessman man as few friends among the present board members.

Hammam wants to rejoin the City and is willing to offer his experience on the football side of the club but not the business and financial side of the club which he will happily leave to the Malaysians, but for how long. It would be like bring a fox into a chicken coup he is just to passionate to sit on his hands, like him or loath him he has a love for Cardiff City,

There is no open wound between Cardiff City fans then the one generated by Sam Hammam, his return it could be unhealthy for Cardiff City Football Club has a whole. I have never been a fan of Hammam from day one and will hope the Malaysians are not dragged in by is passion.
