There is no change in the TV rights for this new season with Sky Sports and BBC Sports still in partnership until 2012. Once again Sky will show the bulk of the live game some 65 and Football League play-offs - including all three finals - exclusively live. Sky has the rights to show live Carling Cup matchs exclusively until the semi's.
The BBC will be showing 10 exclusive first pick League matches for the upcoming season along with shared coverage with Sky for the two Carling Cup semi finals over 2 legs and the Carling Cup Final from Wembley.
Two games normal guaranteed to be picked for live broadcast are the two derby games with Swansea. The 6th November clash at Cardiff City Stadium also clashes with Welsh rugby's scheduled international fixture against Australia at the Millennium Stadium.
The FA Cup rights are under the control of ITV and ESPN.
