There is not much news doing the rounds about the Bluebirds at the moment. It looks like Hull City have got their man and it’s not Cardiff boss Dave Jones who will be the new boss, but Leicester City Nigel Pearson who is expected to be name the new boss at Hull this week.
On the players front Gillingham are after Darren Dennehy according to Kent Online. The Cardiff defender had a successful loan with the Kent club last season and is a transfer target of boss Andy Hessenthaler. Gillingham chairman Paul Scally is currently having negotiations with Cardiff but admitted to Kent Online that the deal is not straightforward.
He said, "It’s something we’ve been working on. We have asked him to come and he is keen, we have to try and resolve a few issues first."
It’s still all cagey surround Joe Ledley has the player sits on his future. Stoke City are favourites to sign him up. Stoke would give him the Premiership football he has always said he was after. There is a suggestion the player will be taking a medical in the next 48hrs
Celtic were pushing the boat out a few weeks back and with their boss Neil Lennon home from a will holiday he is promising fans he will embark on a Celtic signing spree naming Ledley has a target.
It's all about football at the end of the day .... Once a Bluebird always a Bluebird .... it's for life
