It would seem Cardiff City boss Dave Jones was not overly impressed with the logistics involved and his report back to the club as instigated a rethink. With rumours of money troubles within the club two and two make three so most are linking the possible cancelation down to money. There is a reported meeting today to decuss the matter but it looks like Jones will be taking is squad to Portugal for pre-season training now.
City chief executive Gethin Jenkins “Following Dave Jones’ fact-finding trip to Malaysia and a review of the logistics involved, the club has decided to look at alternative options.There is nothing official on the clubs website .
“Therefore it is probable we will not be going to Malaysia.”
