I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Cardiff linked with Celtic left-back

The differances is ... he is a
Englishman playing in Scotland
Another day another rumour with Celtic left-back Lee Naylor in the sights of the rumour mill today. Of course it is a rumour but he can leave on a free transfer and plays in Scotland that’s enough to City boss Dave Jones’ hairs stand on the back of his neck. He left previous club Celtic by mutual consent but Cardiff will have to wait until the transfer embargo is lifted allow Cardiff can talk to players. Nottingham Forest are reported to be interested in bring Naylor back to the Championship.

I thought Jones was after a right-back but Naylor is a left-back but he is a Jones old boy playing for Wolves when the Jones was the boss at the midlands club. The 30 year-old would have to battle out with City other aged left-back Mark Kennedy and Kevin McNaughton vying for that spot.

Naylor came through the ranks at Wolves and while Jones was there he was a first team regular and right up until his move north of the border. He move to Celtic for only £600,000 but hit the floor running going straight into the first team but over the last few season his appearances have slowly ceased somewhat.

As a celtic fan im pretty sad that he is leaving as lenny brought him back into the time when he took over although he is made it clear in the past that he wants to move back down south. I have no doubts he would be a good asset for you to have

Naylor's pretty limited; you're not going to get marauding runs down the left wing, set piece expertise or adaptability. What he is a decent old fashioned left back, sits slightly deeper than the full backs , reads the game relatively well and tackles well.
On a free you could do a lot worse.
