I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Cardiff face Burton Albion in the Carling Cup

I don’t think Cardiff City boss Dave Jones could have asked for more than a home game in the opening round of the Carling Club. Burton fans will be happy to have pulled one of the draws of this round and to visit a magnificent stadium like the CCS.

Cardiff City has never played Burton Albion before they only entered the league in 2008/09 after securing promotion from the Conference as Champions. There manager is Paul Peschisolido a much travelled footballer who played for a host of clubs from the USA, Canada, England and Ireland.

In Ireland he was assistant manager with Irish club St Patrick's Athletic but left for personal reason but three days later, he was appointed manager of Burton Albion following the departure of Nigel Clough. Last season their first in the league they managed a min-table finish in the league and lost 5-1 to Reading last season in Carling Cup.

Peschisolido married Karren Brady, they met while he was playing for Birmingham and she was Managing Director, she later sold him to West Bromwich Albion.
