I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

City head to Bath City for friendly

Twerton Park
Bath City has confirmed they will face Cardiff City at home Thursday, July 8. Bath are expecting Cardiff to have a full-strength team for the evening kick-off.

Cardiff tend to play Bath City regular as pre-season fixture and it got me thinking when was the last time we had play them in a full on competitive game? We have never met in a league but did during the Second World War when football was regionalised.

The only competitive game between the two clubs was at Ninian Park in 1992 the season Cardiff were Champions of the new Division Three but a million miles from Champions when it came to the FA Cup. Bath City were the visit to Ninian Park for this first round game and on paper it was a walkover. However it was anything but has Cardiff crash out 3-2 to the non-league visitors and it was not Eddie May used a weaken team
