Another day and another club link with Joe Ledley and maybe someone else could be interested if the rumour is true.
First we Celtic who has been linked before could be re-staking their claim in the pack of chasing clubs. Ledley will soon be out of contract. It has been said before if he moves anywhere outside the English game the club we receive no compensation payment. Just a few season ago Cardiff could have cash him in to Stoke for £6 million, but it was feel by boss Dave Jones he was to important to team to sell.
In the Sunday Star they have Ledley off or wanted by Serie A club Roma last season they finish second in the league and managed by Claudio Ranieri. I’m not sure anything will come out of this rumour he (Ledley) has never been linked with a European team before.
It's been Ledley goal to make the step up to the Premiership for so time, but his options have widened to Scotland and now Italy. That would bring him Champions League football. Anyone securing his services would have a player who can bring transfer offer of £5 million + for a relatively small outlay for an English teams while a foreign team could sign him up for free.
The betting is on him to will walk, Cardiff has put in a new contract offer in front of him but not many City fan would expect to see him in a Bluebird shirt next season.
