I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Three games to go and it's getting hot

Both Newcastle and West Brom will be playing Premiership football next season with Portsmouth dropping the other way after two impressive wins leaving just one spot to fill. Nottingham Forest has secured one of the play-off places with a 3-0 win today leaving three places to fill.

Cardiff managed to draw with Reading today and are three points from a guarantee spot in the play-offs and City have three games left to play. If Blackpool who are still seventh were to lose their next game City would pick-up a play-off place. Fifth place Swansea dropped a place down to sixth after losing at Bristol City 1-0 and only two points ahead of Blackpool and the chasing pack. Leicester City move up to fifth after a 2-1 win at relegated Peterborough leaving them four points clear of Blackpool.

The chasing pack looks to be a two horse race Blackpool and Middlesbrough with an outside chance on Reading if they can win them two games in hand. It will also depend on results next weekend allow Reading have a tough at Newcastle midweek and if they lose they will have little hope of the play-offs.

Next Saturday games of interest
Blackpool v Nottingham Forest,
Leicester v Watford,
QPR v Cardiff,
Reading v Peterborough,
Swansea v Barnsley,
West Brom v Middlesbrough,

There are a few game that could help the City out, like a Forest win would see Cardiff in the play-offs.
