News at Cardiff City chairman Peter Ridsdale is to fly the coop at the end of the season (after the play-offs) according to the Sun newspaper will bring enjoy too many a Cardiff City fan. "But it is not unreasonable that when new people come in they want to run the business with their own people."

I am going out on a limb here but of the five years Peter Ridsdale has been at the club he has done a great job. He saved the club when it was minutes away from meltdown at the end of the Hammam era and secured the new stadium and gave his full backing to manager Dave Jones in the face of fans calls for him to go.
