Some transfer speculation surrounding fit again Joe Ledley in the News of the World today. The paper is reporting that the midfielder will move to Stoke City in the summer if the Bluebirds fail in their bid for promotion. This is not the frist time he has been linked with the Potters until last summer it was a bit of a regular rumour.Ledley is out of contract in the summer and can move anywhere, Cardiff would then have to rely on compensation from a transfer tribunal. He would have to resign for the club if he was to stay. The player himself as said a number of occasions he wanted Premiership football and would prefer if it was with Cardiff.
A number of years ago Stoke tried to sign him with a bid just before the closing to a summer transfer window with a £6m bid. The club would not sell although they were planning last summer to sell but received no offers. The Stoke boss will be hoping to get the player on the cheap with Cardiff counting on the experience for such a young player.
