It’s been awhile since the Cardiff City boss has been linked with another club however in today’s’ Daily Mirror he is linked to West Ham who could be interested in the Cardiff manager.Favourite for the job is FC Twente boss Steve McClaren who after his disastrous stint has English boss as rejuvenated his career with the Dutch club but with prospect of Champions League football next season would he be interested in a move.
The owners of the London club are reported to be keeping a watching brief on Dave Jones; he has impressed the West Ham's owners David Gold and David Sullivan with his ability to run a tight ship at Cardiff. If Dave Jones plans going to plan there is a chance the two clubs could be exchanging place one up one down. Since joining the Bluebirds Jones as keep the club close to the play-offs and taken them to a FA Cup final and has been astute in the transfer market well.
West Ham are one spot and only three points of relegation not a healthy place to be and it looks like whatever happens stay-up or relegation the present boss Gianfranco Zola time looks numbered.
