Beating Swansea is history now, bring on Nottingham Forest next.
Cardiff has another chance to shine on TV with today’s game live on BBC 2 kick-off 5:15pm.
Forest like Swansea have been dropping points and only managed a draw on Saturday at Bristol City at one point they were in the chase for an automatic promotion spot. A win tomorrow for Cardiff will see the Bluebirds draw level on points with Forest but if City does win by a margin of two goals or more they would go third on goal difference.
Cardiff boss Dave Jones will be hoping none of this players have any niggles and it looked like the changes made during the Swansea game were tactical not for injuries. So it’s possible the same squad will be on duty for the next top of the table clash. Jones surprise all the Cardiff City fans with the return of Joe Ledley on Saturday a week earlier then suggested my player himself pencilled in the Reading game for his return.
The City Ground has become a bit of a fortress they have not lost a home league game since the end of September. Cardiff have a good record at their ground and won 1-0 last season a repeat of the same score would be ok. Old crowd favourite Rob Earnshaw is hoping to play against his old club but is reported doubtful he was not in the team for the Bristol game.
