Upcoming games will make or break this season

A victory tonight for the Bluebirds will see them up above Swansea who was well beaten by Blackpool 5-1 on goal difference and if Leicester were to lose tonight Cardiff could jump to forth.

Top of the table Newcastle win away at Doncaster last night and so did third place Nottingham Forest who is 12 points ahead of the City until tonight’s game. Going into the game tonight Cardiff are four points in front of Blackpool and win tonight will increase to 7, a healthy gap with a game in hand on most of the clubs around it City.

The next 12 days can make or break the season with games now all in the must win category. There are three home games and two away games to play. Tonight Sheffield United followed by Crystal Palace away in a televised game on Sky Sports with two home game next.

Leicester visit the Cardiff City Stadium for a Tuesday night fixture and then the big one for the fans the local derby against Swansea, even if there was nothing to play for this is the game both sets of fans want to win. With the bragging rights in the West after they beat the City early in the season, Cardiff fans are now looking to square the bragging rights. The game is on Sky Sports.

On the Easter Monday the Bluebirds have a trip to Nottingham Forest the importance of this game can easily be seen by looking at the table, four of the teams are in the top ten. The Forest game is also to be televised this time on the BBC.
