I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Super, super Bothroyd we miss the next two games

Cardiff City and Sheffield United cancelled each other out tonight at the Cardiff City Stadium as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw leaving both clubs picking up a point apiece. Cardiff took the lead with a great shot from striker Jay Bothroyd a goal that will be talked about for years right on half time only for the visitors to pull one back mid way through the second half.

Goal scorer Bothroyd picked up his tenth yellow of the season so will now serve a two match suspension missing the Palace game on Saturday and the Leicester game on Tuesday. Is will be a major blow to the team and it will leave manager Dave Jones with a major headache whether to play Chopra and McCormack up front for the next two games. There is a general feeling among the fans that the two cannot play together.

The point means Cardiff stay in sixth place five points ahead of seventh placed Blackpool and only two points behind fifth and fourth place Swansea and Leicester. The East Midlands club look to be heading for a draw with Reading but an injury time penalty for the visitors left Leicester pointless. West Brom consolidated their position in second spot with a 1-0 win over Coventry.
