Ridsdale friendless in the East?

Turn to the back of the News of the World and what joy, if it is true, can I believe the headline, ‘PAY AS YOU GO’. It is only a rumour but it sounds unlikely but if the investment was to lead to a takeover that is a completely different kettle of fish.

The story in the paper is that Chairman Peter Ridsdale would be shown the door has part of the conditions of the Malaysian property tycoon Dato Chan Tien Ghee investing the £6m in the Bluebirds.

Once again, it is a club source that is breaking the news to the paper it must be a new source has the club are reported to have caught the source back some months ago, but this new source said, "Ridsdale must be removed from the helm for there to be a hefty investment. He's living on borrowed time."

Fans where asking on the clubs messageboard why was it that director Steve Borley when out to Malaysia when it was Ridsdale who has been dealing with them in the past. Dato Chan Tien Ghee is due to fly in on Thursday for more talks that could see the Malaysian take control of the club with a buy-out.
