The Cardiff City United march for next Saturday is gaining pace in todays in the sports section of the South Wales Echo this is a full-page ad taken out by Cardiff City fan and local businessman Annis Abraham. (See left)This will be the third protest the last two were after the game but organiser were disappointed in the turnout but this time they a hopeful of a much bigger turnout, up to 2,000 as the Canton area is popular with Cardiff fans.
Fans will meet up around 1.30pm in the car park at the back of the Admiral Napier pub Cowbridge Road East and the match to the ground will start around 2pm. If you are walking to the ground or drinking in the Ninian Park pub why not just join the match. Fake bank notes £5 and £10 featuring the face of Peter Ridsdale will be handed out to fans during the protest.
Speaking to the Echo Abraham said, “We are expecting 2,000 people there on Saturday. It’s going to be huge.
“This is about the board’s handling of our finances.
“I think the way the club is being run is making us look a joke.
“This is not about the players, this is not about the team - this is about the whole board.
