I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

March a success and three points

The day started with nearly 2,000 fans or maybe more any 2,000 fans depending who you talk to marching to the Cardiff City stadium. The marchers set off with banners, plenty of chanting and even a coffin to voice their opinion to chairman Peter Ridsdale who had earlier call on the fans protesting not to march. He also called on fans to “look themselves in the mirror” he also revealed his belief the march and protest could scupper hopes of attracting investment.

With all the off the field stuff going on the game was the most important after two really bad defeats, it was a must to take all three points today against Middlesbrough who could have jumped over us in the league table and out of a play-off place.

It is only the second time this season Cardiff has done the double over a rival, home, and away victories. It was a nail biting afternoon with Cardiff winning this all-important game but with the only goal scored in the third minute it made for a tense afternoon for the home fans.

Jay Bothroyd popped up to score the early goal when a Darcy Blake cross-found the striker who scored an easy tap-in, Blake got the start in place of the injured Peter Whittingham.

Cardiff now face a long trip to Ipswich for the Tuesday night game they lost 1-0 at Blackpool today and have drawn their last three home games. The following day it is back to the High Court for a rematch with the taxman.
