Joe Ledley is targeting the last four game of the season for his return from injury. The midfielder is making a fast recovery from his two hip operations and has been given the all clear to start training again. He has been working out his upper body now he can start on his lower.Ledley who is out of contract in the summer is hope to play a few more game if the City can make the play-off and there could be a trip to Wembley which would lift the hearts of the Cardiff faithful.
Speaking yesterday he said, “My aim is to be back for Reading at home on April 10.
“I’ve worked hard on my upper body fitness and I am feeling good.”
“You can’t rush back after this type of injury, but I have seen the specialist and hope to start running in straight lines soon,” he said.
“The surgeon has warned me against taking chances because so much bone has been taken off my hips.
“He has told me there must not be any pressure on the hips until he gives the go-ahead and I have to stick by that.”
