I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Another game hopefully another three points

Allow the fans mind may have jumped ahead to Saturday and the Swansea game there is the little subject of Leicester City tonight to get out of the way. This is our game in hand over most of the clubs around us so a win and three points are really important to secure. A win would see the gap between Cardiff and seventh place with rise from five points to eight with only seven games left to the season.

Cardiff‘s win on Saturday and Swansea’s draw push Leicester from fourth to sixth after the lost to Derby County put a extra edge on the fixture with only a point separating the three clubs. Cardiff form this season has been fair, after losing to them in the league 1-0 at Leicester the City run out 4-2 winners in the FAC played at the Cardiff City Stadium so all square.

Cardiff go into the game on the better form with three wins and a draw out of the last four games while the visitors form was less than perfect with only one win, a draw and lost the last two games.

After the curve ball Jones threw into the mix on Saturday with his team selection will he stick with the same starting eleven? With Bothroyd out and still out of the Leicester game everyone expected that McCormack would have start against Palace with Chopra coming in for Bothroyd. But City boss Jones dropped McCormack to the bench in favour of a Chopra/Etuhu partnership. Etuhu is on a season loan from Manchester City just return from injury.

Jones could have another problem with reports Gerrard is fit and with Blake who has slid into Gerrard spot putting in some man of the match performances in the last three games. It’s a simply case of as Blake done enough to keep Gerrard on the bench. Capaldi has competition for his place now that Mark Kennedy is back after coming on at Palace for the defender. Other than that unless boss Jones has a surprise or two the line-up should be around the same that played at Palace.
