I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Council comes good

Cardiff City Council have agreed to allow Cardiff City to sale two parcels of land one earmarked for the proposed hotel the other is the coach park adjoining the Leckwith stadium which could be used to house warehousing.

The council have also agreed to defer payments from the sale for five years however will pay immediately if the Bluebirds are promoted to the Premier League. The club has undertaken to start work on the House of Sport within three months and will provide offices space in the complex for Cardiff council's sports development staff.

Council leader Rodney Berman said: "Today's decision represents the best way forward for both the club and the Council.
"I also want to make it clear this is a beneficial arrangement and there is no question of the taxpayer bailing out the club.
"On the contrary this proposal will in time see money coming back to the council.
"Under this agreement the club's contractor partner aims to start work on the House of Sport within three months.
"This is going to be an important community facility, with indoor pitches and a multi-use sports hall. The proposal provides a much greater guarantee for securing the delivery of the House of Sport."

Now it is up to chairman Peter Ridsdale to come good and stump up the unpaid £2.7m tax bill, paid the taxman. Tell the fans if there is any scope for manager Dave Jones to bring in some loan players once the transfer embargo is lifted. He needs to be open with the finance position of the club. The survival of the club is the most important and No1 issues to be undertaken and who cares who can achieve it. Ridsdale did it before let us hope he can do it again because it does not matter how many protest the fans have he is going nowhere.
