I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Off to Bristol for a day out ( GAME OFF)

*********The game is OFF - Frozen Pitch**********
It will be nice to have a short break from league football after the last to game and with the trip a short hop over the bridge to Wurzels land. It will be one of the shorter away trips for the Cardiff fans to make this season but it will be a ‘bubble’.

It has been awhile since the two have face each other in the FA Cup, before the Second World War in 1937 drawing 1-1 at Ninian Park and a few days later at Ashton Gate Cardiff 2-0 winners.

It is the midfield giving trouble to Cardiff boss Dave Jones for today’s game Gavin Rae being the latest other on the walking wound list midfielder Stephen McPhail out until sometime in January and Riccy Scimeca has retired. Joe Ledley is carrying a hip injury but is still playing on.

In defence Kevin McNaughton should be in contention after come off at half-time against Peterborough the other defence injury issue is Miguel Cummings as well as Mark Kennedy is believed to still recovering from a calf injury.

With the forwards, Jay Bothroyd is doubtful with only a 50/50 chance of player and could have a fitness test.

Today’s game will give a number of fringe players a chance either on the bench or possible in the starting line-up depending on how Dave Jones decides to play the game, will he rest any players for next Saturday’s all important League game home to Blackpool.
