I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

The late, late, late show

Another late, late goal helped the Bluebirds on to a 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers. In was the classic game of two halves, Chopra gave Cardiff the first half lead a half with a hat full of chances. Chopra miss two sitters, which were much easier than the one he scored, he could have easily walked off half time with a hat trick. Both McCormack and Bothroyd could have added to the half-time lead.

In the second half, it was all Doncaster as the visitors up their game looking for the equalizers in the first half they could handy put a pass together but now they were stroking the ball across the pitch. They were stretching the Bluebirds who were defend deeper and deeper and Cardiff fans were see more ball hoof up the field. It was not long before the visitors got the goal they were chasing in the 65 minute and to be honest they deserved it.

Straight after the goal City boss, Dave Jones made his first change taking off Rae to send on Blake and with Rovers looking for the lead as Cardiff were chasing around the pitch when they did get a chance the ball would be push out to the wings were Burke and McCormack crossing in a lot of ball. Cardiff were having nothing like the chances they were in the first half while Rovers although holding a lot of the ball the City keeper was not overly challenged.

Jones made a double Substitution with around 13 minutes to go, Kennedy was off replaced by the fit again McNaughton and Burke who had a good game was replaced Taiwo a bit of a surprise. The game was looking to be end for a draw and with the way the game most would have been happy with that, however it was not to be there was one more goal in the game. It came from a scramble in the Rovers penalty area, from a corner the ball the ball found the back of the net. It was unsure who score at first was in Chopra or Bothroyd in the end it was Bothroyd, 2-1 and three points a good day’s work when it looked like City would have to settle for one.

It has to be said the fans were great today giving their full backing to the team.
