I do know my spelling, grammar and punctuation is CRAP. I put it down to my lack of schooling preferring to mitch (truanting from school) rather than go to school. The joke is firmly on me now, which will bring a smile to any of my old English teachers.

Late goals the bane of the Bluebirds

So it was going to be S4C (The Welsh language TV) to watch the game for me last night. I have to say this will be about the only time I planned to sit down and watch the channel for more than a few minutes since the day of it first broadcast. They have showed the Wales international team game but this must be the first time they have shown one of the two league clubs, I cannot remember if they showed the Cardiff City FA Cup final, I think they did.

No English commentary what a joke most City fans speak English I watch some of the Port Talbot game the other week and there was English commentary Andy Legg was doing it. Subtitles only, just cannot believe it; I wanted to watch the game on my new 32” flat screen TV. The weather looks sh*t glad I have sitting in front of the TV. No, Welsh speaking ex-Cardiff player so the studio guest is a Jack (Swansea City fan) John Hartson.

Straight over to FATV and internet viewing for me - screw S4C I would rather watch the game on my laptop.

That was better the English language I could understand them. The weather looks like hell and I hope if the game were to be called off, it would only happen if we were losing. Cardiff kick-off the picture and streaming quality is very good on the internet. Bristol City started the lively having the best of the opening play all the chance falling to the home team. Cardiff fist real chance came for a free kick taken by Joe Ledley whose shot was saved, a Cardiff player picked up the rebound, but his ball back in was well cover by Bristol City. Moments later Peter Whittingham saw a shot go wide.

The conditions were making it difficult to play football there was a lot of loses ball, slips and under passing because of the pitch. The game was end to end but without the finishing than Cardiff lost Gavin Rae with a reported muscle injury and was replaced Solomon Taiwo.

The first half petered out and both teams when in level which was fair based on what I was watching. Worrying the game was looking like it would go to the first team to score.

The second half started with both team were tentative but the pace soon picked up boss Dave Jones made another change taking off Ross McCormack and sending on Warren Feeney. Feeney helped the Bluebirds take the lead by closing down the Bristol keeper who made a poor clearance only for Michael Chopra to get on the end of the ball and put into the back of the net.

Has Chopra celebrated there been an altercation on the touchline in front of the Bristol City bench has the Cardiff striker run passed was push or tripped by Bristol City boss Gary Johnson. After getting to his feet, Chopra look to have pushed the Bristol City boss. It was Chopra’s first goal since the end of September.

With the game at 1-0 and Cardiff’s reputation for letting in late goals the game was never safe and when fourth official raised the board to show four extra minutes you just knew there was something left in this game. Half way through the four minutes it happen, Bristol got one back to level the score went Cardiff City fan and Bristol City player Gavin Williams drove the ball past Marshall. Therefore, there will be a replay in Tuesday at The Cardiff City Stadium.
