Capaldi back at Cardiff

Tony Capaldi has failed in this attempt to find a new club after he returned back to Cardiff at the end of his loan spell with Leeds United. He was hoping he had done enough to earn a permanent deal.

Capaldi has not figured in recent game and was on the bench for the victory over Manchester United on Sunday. But Leeds has a number of players coming back to fitness that have pushed the City player down the packing order. He is looking for more opportunities for first team football and if the opportunity to go out on loan comes again Cardiff boss Dave Jones would likely agree to it. But that will depend on if the taxman story is true or not - if true a transfer embargo could be placed on Cardiff by the Football League.
